Reverse Bulb Light Pattern Question
I am in the market for brighter reverse bulbs. I've read several positive posts on the CREE replacement bulbs. I'm fairly sold on the increased light output but not sure about the light pattern. Seems like they are more of a projection bulb. Has anyone had any success with a SMD LED that has a wider pattern and still provide the brighter light? Does the factory reverse light housing include a reflector? If so, wider rather than projection may be the way to go. Appreciate any comments.
I have the crew replacement bulbs and it's not blinding bright, I feel its the right amount of output for reverse lights, but still brighter then oem bulbs. Not sure if it has a reflector but it seems to be it dosent.
Yeah those CREE reverse bulbs have a weird pattern to them ... I think 360 degree firing LEDs would be better.
Something like this maybe? Not sure if it will fit though ...
