So I've been kickin this around. I don't and never have liked front lips. I daily my car, and have been running extremely low in the front (until recently when I raised it up for the stock wheels). And I'd scrape stock lip even when taking things at angles. So I can imagine what an aftermarket front lip would be like.
HOWEVER, if the bottom of the bumper doesn't line up with the side skirts, then I'll run a lip kit. I noticed a lot of the GS-F sport guys on this forum have a wald or ordered one. If I do it I'll either do the skipper, think design, or five axis. Problem with the five axis is I can't hold my breath on Troy and the team coming through anytime soon.

I agree, that's a cool teacher.
I wasn't going to do this bumper, heck I wasn't going to keep this car.... Until I saw the 2014 IS, that's when I decided to keep this for now until the 2-door ISF comes out. You know me, I change my mind worse then a female.
Thanks for the kind words B!!

Thanks S10!

Has anyone seen the South Florida GS-F sport running the skipper front lip? Below is a picture and video. I really like the skipper front end but there is already a black GS bumper running it. Making me think that if I have to get a front lip, I'm now forced to grab the think design lip.

I wouldn't get the front lip, the design of the bumper looks awesome, the front lip sort of subdues the whole front end.

Where's the progress!!! =)

Dually noted on the no lip.

No progress really. Just letting glue dry since Friday night. Should be cured by Monday morning so we can start sanding, then comes paint. We still have to tackle the front grill sticking out an inch from the hood. Aside from that we're going to fill in the holes for the park assist and I decided last night to order a rear view camera and I'll install it just behind the front lower grill.

Back on topic about the front lip. I hope to NOT run a front lip but I have to see the bumper Tuesday to see if the bottom of it will match the ground height of the side sills. If it's too short I'll add front lip

Here is a picture of a vehicle with no front lip that I think really pulls off the no front lip very well.

Yes, let that glue dry, it is very very important. I hope you can get away with no lip. Have you gotten a price yet?

Can you mold the GS-F side skirts as well? Just thinking outloud here if that would even work.

Also, not sure if you are running aftermarket sides just now.

I do have OEM f-sport side skirts... They're just like the stock ones but slightly wider. I'm sure one could mold the GS-F sport skirts on, I'd just be worried with such a long piece that sees a lot of flex throughout the day that it may crack. Bit I bet it is doable.

You mean the concavo one the red one? Not sure who that belongs too actually.

Nex, it's taking my body guy longer then he anticipated.
Two days ago while I was up there working on my car he was testing fusor glue, and two different 3M glues. Today, after letting them harden/cure he will decide which glue he wants to use.
For now, no update other then I finally got my remaining pieces from Sewell I ordered last week for the bumper.
