Default used IS250 pricing??

Looking around for my new used daily beater and looking at 06-07 is250...kbb has the private party valuve at around 14k with 84k in miles which I've seen people having over 100k in miles and still selling their car for around 17k...are people just desperate and are pricing high just to get market valuve?? I've even seen salvaged ones going for 15-16k...so am I out of my mind it I think I can get one with under 100k in miles for around 12g's?

I wouldn't say you're out of your mind but it will be hard to find. 75-90k is250s were still going for $17-$19k here in Omaha,NE earlier this year. Priced too high IMO.

ve looked into the prices on different sites and it seems like people are asking the sugguested retail price and even some are higher than that...its not like its a rare car or in demand, there all over the place...I'm looking into getting one in a few months and hoping the impact of 2013s will drop them some more.

Under 100k miles for 12k is pushing it I think. Prices should go down a bit after the 3IS comes out

If you're fine not having navi then you might be able to snag one under 12k but I don't believe it will have less than 100k miles. It would be a rare sighting and most likely have problems behind it. I think a a more reasonable search would be like in the high 13k for around 90k+ miles.

Shoot I would pay 14k if it has around 80k in miles but these prices are too high...im between this and a c230 benz but the is250 has heated/cool seats and keyless while the benz doesnt but the benz is way cheaper now...

I bought my 2007 Lexus is 250 AWD w Luxury package 55 K miles for $19,000 flat.
It was hard for the dealership to budge and it was a good deal all around. I was looking and even Lexus with like 80,000 miles wanted the same price. I think I got a good deal on mine.

I have warranty for another month lol, this was the best deal I found online at the time.
Like I said I found similar deals liek an 2006 w 65k miles but it was base RWD for like 18 k.

It was really hard to budge and most online prices are so competitive now that there isnt much wiggle room.

My best friends step dad had a 06 lexus is250 w 99 k miles ( at a dealership) and his absolute best price he can give was like $13,800 and he was only making $300.00 bucks.
But I didnt want to drive a base 06 with all those miles so I went and spent a little bit more money.
The 06 was tan interior also =(

Ya I guess it all depends on what you want...I do want navi n rear camera but I guess I'll be patient for now...going to see what my car broker can find as well.
