Default OEM Visor Installation

I'm aware that installing visors are rather straightforward, but since I am buying used OEM visors the double-sided tape will have to be replaced. What kind of double-sided tape is recommended for replacing the original tape on the visors? I looked up some 3M automotive tape, but I'm still not sure of what to get.

I do apologize in advance if that is a noob question, I did try to search the forums before making this post.

You can't go wrong with 3M. Make sure both surfaces are very clean (an alcohol wipe will do the job) and then all that's left is to make sure you get em on straight. They won't come off unless you remove them.

Looks like I'll be looking for 3M auto tape when they come in. Thanks for your inputs.

Definitely can't, a worker at the auto parts store recommended it when he did his Honda up with visors. I got them on a little while ago and they looked great, had to take off a side to fix the gap where they meet up when the doors are closed.

Anything else I have to do with them on? Some people were saying to leave it outside during the day when it's sunny to let the tape set or something. Any truth to that?

I did that when I installed my old AVS visors just in case. But if the tape is holding strong, I dont think you have to

Ah. I just checked on the tape this morning, they're holding great.
