Default Airconditioning

Anyone else have the issue where they turn on air or heater and the mode is autmatically set to the floor? I think my friend jacked it up whenhe changed my air filter... Issue started to occur after this change. Mode will switch when I manually change it. Any help would be great thanks.

I can't imagine that changing your air filter would cause an issue with the operation of your HVAC system....

If he didn't put the unit in recirculation mode first, he may have broken a part. Do a search and you'll find some real sob stories.

Did your friend put the car into recirculate mode before changing the filter? If not, chances are the system was broken. It's a common mistake people make when changing the filter.

Isn't it normal with the AC on heat, it uses feet vents?
