Default Got backed into...

My nose of the car was peaking into my driveway. and brother parking in driveway. I parked like this 100s of times. he didnt look behind him and backed right into me...

anyone have any idea of cost and time? (we are going through insurance) this is what my assumption is:

New Bumper, 1500.
New Headlight (set?), 1500
New fender, 800?
Tint headlight + rewraps, 400
Wheel no damage.
Mechanical damage: undetermined

Minimum of parts and labor: $6000.
Time: who knows...

WOW! My heart hurts when I see your car pictures. Some one hit and run my car in the parking lot n left a big scratch on the rear bumper and I already went crazy, so I can feel your paint now. If you live around San Jose CA, I recommend the USA Touch Up. They do a really good service n even got 5 stars on Yelp.

Damn dude...that really sucks...What's your brother drive? How much damage to his?
He must have flew out the driveway not even thinking there was a car parked behind him. Just an overall nightmare...good luck with repairs!

Most accidents happen while backing. I'd say do the IS F eBay front end, get a new fender, and with the money you'll save and the money they'll pay for a single headlight get the led headlights. Good luck. One week should be the time it takes.

thats a bummer, id kill my brother haha, but honestly its not that bad, 2 years ago i lost control on a wet road turning and took out a curb and stop sign in the exact same spot but i ruined a fender, rim, control arms, front bumper, cracked a rotor, and bent the sway bar. all that cost the insurance company about $6500 im thinking at most you may end up paying is around 3k. assuming that no other damage was done to the suspension. i would take it to lexus to have the work done. the price is generally the same as most body shops and they do great work.

Ugh, sorry to see this Adam. Your costs should be a lower than that. Consider doing a front end swap while you're at it.

Thanks, i hope it isnt that much money and i save some for modding + one week sounds reasonable! Hmm, ISF front... i was thinking maybe just:
A) sticking with original front end cuz of the HID fogs i have (thanks to brociouz )
B) fsport front end
but not you bring the possibility of a C option haha. This could work although im not a big fan of making my car something it isnt! but they look sexy.

damn thats pretty big deal. i hope its only like 3k thatd be awesome. Yeah i have no idea if suspension or anything else is broken yet.

umm, like 5-10 mph haha. there was only about 6 feet of space between his car and mine. maybe 10 feet at the most.

devastated! my poor baby ha. Yeah, was thinking of upgraded to a fsport bumper. but sffd103 gave the idea of doing ISF front, he got me thinking lol. But then i will have to part ways with the HID fogs you sold me. decisions decisions...!

Damn that sucks! But yeah it shouldn't be 6k...it should a good amount less.
That wrap and headlight tint will probably be out of pocket......unless the insurance is willing to pay for it.
Hopefully you get it all fixed quick tho!
