Default Blacked out window trim

Hey guys!

I'm looking for some inspiration on whether or not i should wrap the chrome window trim of the car to black. I'm own an SGM350 and i'm planning on getting linea corse chrome rims but i don't know how the black trim would match the car. Any pictures or suggestions?

when you do a "search", go to search forums and type "black trim" or "blacked out". It will show you all the posts that have related texts to tints and black out discussions.

you'll be browsing through the previous threads that have these setups.

yea, a few people have done it here before and posted pics. You can either plasti-dip it or put vinyl, or maybe a few other options too, but those seem to be the best..

I tried to plasti dip my trim but it didnt look so good. I would leave it alone to be honest, but if you really want to do it use vinyl

I considered wrapping my window trim but then went ahead and got mine painted. Along with the black grill and badges I got from Sewell, I think its looks pretty good.

it does look pretty good. what did you use to paint it? did you remove it prior to painting it? or mask off the area & paint?

There is a much easier way. Search the ISF forum. They sell a tape which is much easier to work with than vynil and doesnt need to be heated.
