Default Late oil change?

My IS250 08 is needing an oil change now but the dealer is saying I can only go there on Wednesday due to full schedule these two days, is it ok to change the oil a bit later? Like 100-150 miles late. I think it's fine right?

That is totally fine. There's absolutely 0 reason to worry. A lot of people go longer between oil changes here and have 0 issues. Even if you go a thousand miles extra on regular oil, you aren't going to run into any trouble unless your oil is physically low. If you use synthetic, there are members here that have done 10k+ intervals without issues.

perfectly fine. I personally try not to go more than 500 miles past when you will have no issues.

i commend you for your concern , if more people had your attitude, i think there would be a lot of better condition used cars out there.

but like others have said, you are perfectly fine unless you are low on oil or something.

No worries. I usually got 500-800 miles over. I only get the oil changed when its convenient for me and my schedule. You have nothing to worry about. Just don't wait another 3k-5k for the oil change.

You should always check your oil dipstick regularly in case your engine is burning oil, excessively dirty, etc. You can probably drive thousands more miles if you wanted to, but regular oil changes is always good.

I actually tend to do it early lol because of the holes that passes through the oil in the engine are so small

because my apartment's garage won't allow me to do that... so I don't have place to do it

YES sir! And I very don't want any dirts stuck into any tiny little hole passes oil through in the engine. Even though people are having no issue but I still go with what old school says. Maybe it's just me? lol so I won't be so worry. But thanks for letting me know !

Thanks again ya'll!!
