Default Alignment Price----$175.00???

I got quoted $175.00 for an alignment. They said that it is because I have aftermarket camber arms. Is this a normal price? My rear wheels need it bad! It pulls hard to the right and gets pretty squirrely under hard acceleration, (used to not before lowering).

It's a bit pricey. I was thinking somewhere around $120 to dial in the adjustable rear arms. Is this at a performance shop?

only a performance shop....not Sears or any other cheap/regular shop. Sometimes you gotta pay a bit more $$$ to have piece of mind.

Well crap! $120 sounded better to me. Hell, I've seen them going for as low as $49.99.

I would look around. I would say 110-150 would be reasonable if its a performance shop. I paid $125 for mine.

Is that with tax? If it's before, than I would agree it is a bit high.

At the shop I go which is known in the area, go to charges about $158 before tax, so it ends up at around $173.

Whoa. Looks like I need to get into the Lexus alignment business! Lol

I think they are taking advantage of the fact its a Lexus therefore owner has $$

I don't know if you guys know about the VW mkv, but that is one of the most involved alignments when slammed and I would get them twice a year once for summer negative camber and reset to 0 for winter and it was only 90$ each time.

I paid like $280 4-5 years ago. I did not have time to shop around so just went with it.

With a coupon, I had Lexus do mine for $100 even. They had said if I had rear camber arms they would have adjusted out some of the rear negative camber for me too.
