Post good Dallas area alignment shop

Anyone know of a shop that does a 4 wheel align the old fashioned way ( no computers) in DFW area? Most places just use a printout for your car, and I'm not convinced it is the best way, especially with aftermarket wheels installed. Usually there are a few shops around that still do it manually.

I'd try Dallas Alignment & Frame. I'm not sure if they do it the old fashion way or not but they are good. Good luck. Here is their number (972) 241-2361 They are located on Fabens Rd. just off of Harry Hines, between Royal and Walnut Hill. HTH

What do you mean by manually? The new computer is 10 times better than the older machine. It just depends the tech that do your alignment. You have to tell him how you want it. Like toe, camber and caster. Of course bigger wheels will throw off your alignment.

Manually meaning not going by a computer printout of what the car should be. It would involve more of a custom setup accounting for brake, suspension, and wheel/tire mods. Your average dealer or tire store alignment tech goes by the standard setup for your make/model of car. I was looking for a shop or individual who was good enough at alignments not to have to go strictly by what the manual says, but by how they know it should. This would have to be a tech whose skill level is above average.
