That also is true. I'm just getting used to it I guess

Not a chance.

[Also prepare yourself for the influx of people telling you how bad the manual transmission is]

Oh I've gone through that already, posting up arguments as petty as traffic and parking. Over time if skill develops it shouldn't be a problem.

In any case, just to try my luck I'll ask the head mechanic if he can come up with something (after all they have to change the steering wheel, center dash, tranny, and some other stuff IF they even consider doing it). I know its impossible, but I got nothing to lose right

As much as I love the ISF, I'd take the Black Series C63 if money weren't a issue lol

I disagree, cause you'll get bored getting your tires or transmission parts replaced/repaired when they wear out.

Youve got to be really throwing your car around to be doing any kind of sliding in a 250, and not in a fun way, but a violent thrash to get it to slide at all.

I've said quite a few times that I find the IS 250 more fun and engaging b/c you have to work harder with the engine. Makes for fun shifting. The IS 350 and clearly IS F have so much power that you have to really get them to illegal speeds to have fun. With the IS 250 you can have fun at any speed.

when i first bought my IS250 I was disappointed bec of the speed but everything else was a 9.9/10...however after a month and mods started ooo man the fun began...lowered, intake(greedy), exhaust(greedy), things that make you feel faster because that's all they do bec hp gain in very minimal...under 20hp gain.....I give it a month or two then you give us your new review...

The car I had before this was a 07 MX-5, so while only a bit faster, the handling is night and day. Everyone was saying "Congratulations!" and "Are you having fun in your new car?" The answer was honestly no, it can't compare to the fun of a low 2 seat convertible.

But you know what? I did not get it for the fun factor. Contrary to some in the thread, I really enjoy the proportions of the IS cars, but when I really want some driving fun, I jump back in my MX-5.

I still think what I dub the "poor-man's luxury car" is an amazing buy and I'm glad I did it. Will be sad to sell the Miata though.
