Default About to change windshield molding trim

I have read all the threads for this. I am a little hesitant about doing this myself. I have ordered the needed parts from Sewell. Any tips from the ones who have done this I would appreciate it. Thanks

^ if so you just have to pull them off. youll break just about all the clips but theres no other way around it. thats why you have to get new clips.

They can be removed without breaking the clips (I've done it), provided the windshield installation has been done without applying extra urethane. If the moulding touches adhesive on the other side of the blue clip all bets are off, it's not coming out without breaking. Even if there is no urethane there, it's still pretty hard to do without breaking any of the clips.

If you are looking for the easiest way to do it, just pull the old mouldings off with your hands/pry tool, the moulding section will break and you can then remove the blue clips from the rivets. Careful when removing the clips to not scratch the paint, it's the biggest risk involved but isn't usually too big of a deal.

Installation is really easy, things just pop together.

Thanks for the advice. Yes, it's the 2 side pieces along the outside edge of the windshield. I will take pictures when I do this and put them on here. Hopefully I can help some people out. I have done some DIY stuff on my car already like spark plugs, air filters, hid headlights, interior led lights, fog lights. Without the help of the people on this forum it would have cost me a lot of extra money. So I thank any of you who have helped me out. That's what makes this forum the best!!!

How much did the parts run you altogether for the whole job?
