Default best reverse led?

i can't seem to find it in the seach but does anyone know which brand is the best reverse led.... i currently using vleds but i remember seeing another thread where it looks was brighter than what i got

You probably saw the thread on the CREE LED bulb's which is probably what you want.

STAY AWAY from those dime a dozen ebay "CREE" lights. They advertise as 5W, but in reality all they are is an SMD LED under a magnifying lens and a fancy aluminum shell.

Beyond that, you need something that will emit 360 degree side light so that it reflects into the reflector and doesn't just shine out in one direction with a narrow beam.

I played with a bunch of different bulbs for the parking lights, reverse lights, puddle lights, etc.. and found that these exact bulbs worked the best, looked the best and shone the most light for all applications: http://www.ebay.com/itm/190750050728...84.m1423.l2649

Cree or hid. i blacked out my truck so cree wont even work but when i put hid, its a big diff.

thats bright hehee
i am just running some 13smd ones and they work for me
bright enough people see it but not blinding

That's what I have. Good 360 light. Cree is like a focused beam. As for license plate light, those are already factory LEDs.
