Why would it ruin your day? Lexus is Toyota after all. Most people say the IS is a glorified Corolla.

Don't let it bother you. Every car brand is technically a rip of its brother/sister brand. Why do people buy Porsche if its a VW? Why buy Acura when your driving a glorified Honda? People do not like Saturn but love GMC, same brand, helllllo.

They wish their Toyota look and performed like an IS.

Yea the IS is based on the GS platform, they did that because they had plans for a V8 in its future. What a ridiculous website, talk about a garbage review.

Who cares! I like my IS regardless, even if it was based on a Ford Pinto.

For the people who don't understand what a car platform is, it might.

Not too long ago I had some kid argue with me that the IS line was assembled in Japan, Disassembled, shipped to mexico where it was reassembled and sold to North America. Sounds legit hahahaha

Hey everyone. If anyone tells me its a glorified toyota, my reply is "I know that". they won't have anything to say after that. If they keep on going, I put out to them the features that corolla's don't have(RWD, more airbags, slightly bigger engine, etc.).

Now if they keep on going, like what happened to a friend of mine. I compared it to the car he is driving. No offense if anyone has it but I don't brag about my car or let anyone berate mine. So I compared my car to his Korean made hyundai with FWD car that he bought brand new.

Seriously, I was thinking the same thing before... the Corolla doesn't have RWD, 3.5 V6 engine, interior, etc.
