Default LED parking lights

Yes, I searched.

Now that the high power Cree projector style T10/168/194 bulbs are starting to come around more and more, has anyone changed out their parking lights to these? Not the DRLs, the parking lights.

I'm seeing a variety of power levels available, too. 2W, 5W and 7.5W 360 degree bulbs (http://store.ijdmtoy.com/Plasma-High...t15_sku326.htm)

Anyone using these in what kind of power rating? Any error codes, etc?

That thread only covers SMD parking lights.. not the bulbs that I mentioned which are the higher powered Cree projector style.

Keep in mind that a super bright forward firing light isn't usually what you want in a parking light. IMO, the parking light should ideally match your low beam in color and do a good job of dispersing the light in its housing.

I agree, to bad I just installed mine and they were supposed to match, but they are too blue

The issue that I kept hearing from other sources is that the higher wattage LED bulbs get too hot when run continuously in a parking light application and are best suited to reverse lights, turn signals, etc where they are instant on and off.

I ended up going with the max number of 360 degree SMD LEDs that I could find for $5.98 on Fleabay.

Yup, that is one of the issues. Let us know how it goes with the ones you ordered.

I'm using Phillips in mine from Xenondepot and they match my 6K HID Bulbs and 6K HID Foglights to perfection. I disabled my DRL's and installed a 4-LED Phillips Bar in my lower bumper grill. So they operate as my DRL's and look awesome during the day.

The other problem with some of the CREE and larger 360 T10 bulbs is that they are super long. They do not fit in many applications.

Glad you're enjoying the Philips T10 LED bulbs. We've had nothing but positive feedback on these bulbs! Still hoping you'll take some pictures of the LED Daytime Running Lights. Would love to see how they turned out.
