Default Anyone else think is350 seats lack thigh support/ tilt function?

Just bought an '08 CPO 350 this week. Absolutely love the car in every way except for the bottom seat cushion. It seems like it doesn't tilt as much as I'd like or need. Don't think it's malfunctioning because the passenger seat has the same range of movement. I set the seat at its lowest height and tilt it back, but I feel it lacks the range of tilt I would like. Took a couple of days to realize I didn't like this.... My thighs get very little support. I'm 6' pretty ave size 32 pants. Also compared this to other cars and they all tilt more than the IS. What the hell is Lexus thinking? Is there something I'm doing wrong etc? This is really getting to me and I'm not one to complain about much.

Also, is there a way to extend the range of motion/ make mechanical adjustments to improve how much the seat travels/ tilts back? I wonder If the dealer is able to do anything beyond just playing with the switches like I am.

I think the IS350 seats are one of the most comfortable driving seats i have ever sat in. For me they are ****!! big ones!

Definitely could be better. Especially the design of the back where the lumbar is really up too high instead of being in the right place in the lower back. I hope they redesign this in the new model. Definitely not a seat for people with back/neck problems. Personally having to deal with several buldged neck discs in my back, the seat on the IS leaves alot to be desired but I love the car. Drove a new Maxima last weekend and thought I was in heaven from the comfort of the seat. Now that seat was the **** and tolerable on very long drives.

I agree that there should be better/thicker seat and side bolsters. My worn out '95 Civic seats had better bolsters to be honest.

I really have no issues other than the lack of the bottom seat range of travel.
It needs to raise higher in the front. Does anyone have a suggestion?
I wonder if there is an adjustment or something that can be tweaked to allow
More travel.

I had the same complaint about my IS F seats. They were comfortable overall, but there could have been more thigh support. After long trips in the car (Toronto and back, and central Florida and back) I found that the bottom cushions could be about two inches longer. The most comfortable seats I've ever been in are in my wife's 335i, with the thigh support extensions...that's what Lexus should add to their cars as an option.

I feel the same about the is250 seats, definitely not enough side support. I have the bottom cushioned tilted all the way but its still pretty uncomfortable.
