I would like some fellow CL members advice on what I should do with my front grill.

I currently have the 09-10 fsport grill insert with a black pearl emblem, but it looks a bit off to me. I dont think the black pearl contrasts nicely with my matte silver wheels.

I have a few options in mind and wanted to know everyones opinion.



Should I:



1) Keep the chrome grill surround and use the stock chrome or black pearl emblem

2) Plasti dip the grill surround and use the chrome or black pearl emblem

3) Paint the grill surround SGM and use the chrome or black pearl emblem

4) Any other suggestion?

I think your car would look nice with a stock set up. The chrome grille and surrounding will play in nice with your car color and set up.

Just my opinion though.

Black chrome surround and black chrome emblem FTW. I think the plastidip surround and emblem looks off. It's like wearing a dark grey sweater and dark grey pants that are just slightly off. It looks funny but you don't really know why since they're almost the same shade.

And any other combination of chrome/plastidip/black chrome looks off too.

^this looks best!! If you have chrome around the windows keep the surround chrome.

 

Maybe some carbon fiber will benefit you! I think the grille surround would look good.

I was thinking of maybe wrapping the surround in CF or something but I want more of an aggressive, but classy look so I will be keeping the surround chrome (since my window trim is also chrome) . Im still on the fence about which emblem to use though

I dont know why, but the BP emblem bothers me for some reason. I think its because of how the sun reflects off of it and its hard to see it compared to the chrome emblem in the above picture.

I guess I could switch to the chrome emblem and see how I like it and then decide
