Default What body piece is this?

As you can see the sun has killed this strip on the roof. I tried Sewell Parts to see what it was but the guy that emailed me back didn't seem to know. I would like to replace it if possible.

I'd just sand it down and paint it again

or wrap it in vinyl if you're into that stuff

Pretty sure you can order it from dealer too but also pretty sure it's gona be $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

Roof top trim molding, I bought these on ebay to match my roof since I wrapped it with CF vinyl this would be a good option for u if you dont want to repaint http://www.ebay.com/itm/LEXUS-BLACK-...9889a9&vxp=mtr

Think this is what you are looking for

http://is.sewellparts.com/oem-catalo...S250-2008.html

Drag the list down to 75555D and 75555C for both sides and correct color.

Not sure if all years have the same part number though.

Did you replace your stock ones or just tape over them?

its a trim piece thats about as thick as your factory piece with 3m sticky tape on it and so you just apply it over your original trim, You will have to cut some of it off though bc the piece they send you is pretty long

Thanks for the suggestion. I had seen this before but I didn't want to go with carbon fiber and I'm not that handy when it comes to installing things on the car or doing vinyl wrapping. I prefer my car to look stock. What is the advantage of doing the vinyl?

yeah I picked these up last november when I wrapped my roof it was a pain to try to wrap those trim pieces so that worked out well, minus the cf pattern isn't going in the same direction as my roof but no one gets that close to stare at my car anyways so it never bothered me.

these peices already come wrapped u just stick them on, so easy a 5 year old can do it so no need to have any DIY skills. Really no advantage other than saving yourself money I can only imagine how much the stealership would charge for these pieces. Another suggestion like others is to just sand urs down and repaint it or maybe plastidip

Sorry I don't have any close shots of my roof but this is as close as it gets maybe I'll take a cell phone shot for u tomm but you can kinda see the trim here it sits flush on top of the original trim

and a shot of my whole roof
