Rubbing Issue IS250 AWD, Genesis Track Wheels
2007 is250 awd
H&R springs
19 inch genesis track wheels.
Front:19x8
Back: 19x8.5
Now that my springs have settled, the tire rubs against the inner plastic on the passenger front side. You can see in the image where it rubs. Theirs two slightly darker areas.
The dealer has already cut a small piece of the plastic out, but it did not solve the problem. It really only rubs if my wheel is turned all the way left. Anyone know a way to fix this?

Where exactly is the rub mark located? Front part (nearer to the hedlight) or Rear part (nearer to the front wheel)?
What is your front tire size? Normally you shouldn't rub with that wheel spec unless you use wrong size of front tire.

Stock had 4-4.5 finger gap (rear-front)
After install had 2-2.5 finger gap
After 3 weeks had 1.5-2 finger gap
So seems like it does settle lol

just because the ride height changed over a short period of time does not lead to the conclusion that the aftermarket springs are "settling".
if you actually take the time to think about the number of components that can contribute to the change in ride height after the installation of aftermarket springs, you'll realize that that it's quite possible for ride height to become marginally affected without the cause being the actual spring itself.
case in point:
- unloading and then re-loading the OEM rubber top hats
- unloading and then re-loading the OEM shocks
- deflections in the OEM bushings
- unaccounted change in front/rear/side-to-side weight distribution
believe what you want, but until there's full, conclusive evidence to show that aftermarket lowering springs degrade and sag just a few short weeks after installation, you can't rule out everything else.

My tire sizes are:
Kumho Ecsta Tires
225/35/19 in the front and 255/30/19 in the back
The plastic seems quite hard, will using a heat gun and pushing it in really work?

In my case, I have 235/35/19 with 19x8.5 +35 rim on the front. Lowered 1 inch. I have very very minor rubbing. More like faint scuff marks rather than tearing up the plastic liner like yours. I used the heat gun and a wooden paddle to push the liner up and it helped.
