Default A little fun with Plasti Dip

So after looking at some videos on YouTube about Plasti Dip I got bored and decided to take this project on. Let me know what you guys think

I did this a few weeks ago on my IS-F. I did grille bezel, all emblems and my exhaust tips. I'm not really feeling what you did, but at least you can peel it off. I think plastidip does well in very subtle applications.

^^^ Prepare to smell burn rubber on the tips I think the heat will melt the plastidip.

At OP:

Overall, I think it looks pretty awesome. I love the 2 tone look...

I have no 2nd cats or mufflers. Basically, 2 pipes going into the tips and it still looks new. Another F member stated he did his 8 months ago and is still holding strong. It literally takes 10 minutes to do those tips, so if it last 6 months, I'll just do it again.

You know what this made me realize.... I dislike how the body line in our hoods do not match up to the sides of our grills.

From the picture, you seemed to have done a good job playing around with it! It's quite shiny. Did you use a paint gun or rattle can?

I never noticed that they didn't align. Dang, now that kinda bugs me, haha.

must've used a ton of cans for that hood, roof and trunk. I think plasti dipping emblems is fine. First mod I did on my car. I don't know about body panels and wheels. I would hate how that roughness feels. Plus I can't imagine that plastidip surviving too many car washes unless u don't plan on detailing your car.

I like the hood and the roof, but I think the plastidip in the front has to go

I like the emblems. I'm not a fan of the hood at all or how matte it is.

Wow that is a lot of Plastidip! Was it hard to make it look uniform all across the hood/roof etc?

I'm really toying with the idea of plastidipping my whole car. I think it would be really interesting. No more waxing. lol
