im currently looking for discount decent tires myself, my front 2 are going bald. Here is my question:
how many sizes of tires actually fit my lexus is250 (2006). Might sound like a silly question, but when i went to tirerack.com to look up tires, i see 2 sizes:
225/45-17
and
225/40-18
which ones are for which???

The first are for the base 17" wheels the 2IS comes with before any options are added.
the second are for the optional 18" wheels that some 2IS come with.
