Default Ddm tuning 3000k hid fog light kit??

What's up guys, I'm literally sitting at the check out page on DDM tuning about to buy 3000k 9006 hid kit! I've talked to a few people about what else you "should" buy with the kit (ie:brackets, hid harness, etc) and one told me buy the brackets, the other didn't... one told me get the hid harness, the other didn't.. so what should I do? I don't want to waste money on things I don't need! I would really appreciate some help.. trying to order this ASAP!

i have there kit on my fogs and i bought no brackets or anything. I just stuffed it to my bumper. If anything just grab some zip ties and find a place you think is good.

So you literally ordered nothing but the kit itself? I'm only worried about not having fender liners AND water getting to the ballasts or something, any takers on that? lol.. I got sick of them rubbing no matter what I did so I took them out!

I've bought two pairs of HID low beams, and a foglight kit. None worked. Very disappointed in their quality.

all you need are the bulbs and ballasts. you dont need anything else. the polarity on the foglights and HID bulbs are opposite, so you gonna have to put the wire next to the bulb in the opposite way.

check if your lights come on before you stuff all the wires inside the bumper. its really easy, no cutting or modifications needed.

ballasts should be waterproof. just use electric tape to wrap the plugs if you are worried

hoovey, did you reverse the polarity? i've had 3 kits from ddm tuning and none of them worked till i reversed the polarity by just plugging it in the opposite way

Don't worry, all you need is the hid kit itself. Just make sure your getting the 35 watt kit because I've heard that others have had issues with the 55 watt kit. Buy some zip ties for the install and your good to go.

Here's what they look like with yellow overlays.

Easy install and a sexy mod for the $50 range. Just be sure that you get the 35w system. 55w is way too bright for the fogs. Enjoy

Sorry for bumping an old thread, but what overlay should be used to get a true yellow look?
Will just the vinyl overlay give it enough of a yellow look at night? Or would the bulbs need to be changed as well if I don't do the HID conversion?

^You will probably want both the overlays and a 3k HID kit.
