K&N typhoon intake
What is your part number ? I just ordered from crutchfield they said it was the right part, then they returned an email I sent the night before and said this product is not recommended for the 2011 is250
I have one on a 2011 is350. K&N actually used my car to confirm fitment before listing the 2011 is350 as a supported aftermarket part. Not sure how much different the IS 250 would be, sorry no part number.
Here's the part number from the K & N website: www.knnfilters.com
69-8701TP
This is for the 2011 IS250.
Hope this helps.

Did you want one driving on the street or just sitting there? Windows up or down? Let me know what type of conditions you want the video taken. I have one on my IS250 and can take the video. Just PM me your email and I can send it to you.

I have a civic with a CAI and Greddy exhaust and this setup is fairly loud. Compared to this, it's very quiet. But the sound over the stock intake is slightly louder. My girlfriend didn't notice the sound when I put it in and she would have mentioned it if she heard a difference.
The intake doesn't drone at normal driving speeds. The only time you really hear it is during hard acceleration and WOT.
FYI the noise is like a low growl.

I have it...no sound clip but I can describe it
Very deep growl, at first sou ds muscle since stock is250 sounds like a fish screaming (no sound)..hits in starting 3k rpm and pitch increases as rpm go up....its like u can hear air currents spinning into the intake tube....sounds rli good I love it, louder than my tanabe mt

Sorry about the flashing lights on the dash. I have aftermarket rims without the TPMS so that's the tire pressure warning. And my seatbelt is unbuckled...and the gas is low....
The sound is not "ricey" at all. I think you'll like it. Let us know when you get it.
