Hey everyone lol,

So my car all locked and i can't open it with the fob!!!, i even tried prying the cap off from the handle and using the manual key but it seem to doesn't want to turn the whole 90 degree angle

I got the battery replaced in the FOB and it still doesn't work.... so im guess my car battery is dead. I had a look inside and security light doesn't seem to be flashing.

The only thing i can do is open the boot with the manual key..., is there anyway around this or a locksmith would be the only solution?

Please help =( im a is250 noob.

 

It would be hard to beleive its a car battery problem. Even if its almost dead, it bearly requires any power to open the locks..

Try to jimmy the key around manually, maybe itll work?

Dont have any other suggestions so wait and see what everyone else will say I guess!

 

Sounds like your car battery is out.

 

Have you try turning harder? Or the reverse direction?

Can you open the trunk with the manual key?

 

Yeah I can't open the trunk.

I was thinking of getting some small kid to go in through the middle lol

 

Did you buy the car used? You might have the wrong metal key. If you can get into the trunk, open the little pass through door and use some sort of hook to pull the back seat door handle.

 

Did you mean to say you CAN open the trunk?

 

Damn that sucks man....I'm buying a 2008 350 series that will be the first thing I'll check make sure my door opens with that key......sorry to gear that man...

 

+1 this sounds like its the wrong key. Or the front locks have been rekeyed.

Have you tried the other lock?

 

yeah something is definitely up with the key or the key hole thing.

Managed to open up the trunk and got a pole and unlocked the rear door and everything. Charged up the battery and its running pretty sweet now.

BUT now my driver side window button is flashing...and the controls for the other windows don't work....
...but the window button on each door works, just not the main one on the driver side...

Guess i gotta do some resetting thing... i remember reading about it somewhere lol
