I've had this for a couple days now. I just noticed I forgot to put the cap on, on my gas tank. I think that's what triggered that. I was hoping someone here knows how to reset it?

It should go off after a while if you tighten the gas cap back on dont worry.

 

If it doesn't turn off by itself, you can always disconnect and reconnect the battery to reset it.

 

^^x2, or take it to autozone or advanced and they'll clear the code for free

 

Autozone = liability wussies. I asked them to clear a simple code that my car threw but they were stingy about and said no please leave the lot if you are going to tinker with your car much. Im not familiar with Advanced. But here in Idaho Autozone just lost a customer.

 

Damn. All the Autozone's i've been to around Cali have staff that are more than willing to help people. Except a certain few employees that i've encountered that don't seem to know jack about cars...even tho they try and help lol
