Default overhead lights not working...

So after having my car for well over 3 months now, i came to a realization,

the small overhead lights that become visible when you pull your sun visor/personal cosmetic mirrors down do not light up. Why is that? is there a specific switch in my car that turns them on? or are they faulty. I bought my car used, so im just not sure.

Are you sliding the cover over the cosmetic mirror all the way back? They won't light up unless you slide the cover over.

mine are 50/50 on if they come on or not. I think its a loose connection in the switch or something.

Yeah same with mine, if I slide it halfway it won't light up but if I slide it all the way over it will. You can always replace the bulb and if that doesn't work then it's the switch/fuse...

Mine sometimes take an extra second or two to light up. Is there maybe a wiring issue?

I changed all my interior lights to LEDs so maybe I messed with something and didnt realize it?
