Default AWD Tire replacement

I need one tire replaced, it is unrepairable....can I just replace one tire on the AWD if it is at 80% tread life, or do i need to do them in pairs?

The tire shop said I should be fine, but my manual and such is in the car, at their shop.....

Thanks

Could be ok. If want to be on a safer side, you could change a pair.

As for your manual, no worries; Lexus Driver's is your friend.

thanks for the link--did a search and the system is not very user friendly. however it does not state the tires must be replaced in pairs--unlike my old Volvo, which stated that in multiple spots...or did I miss that int he manual. Checked under tire replacement and rotation sections

1 of my tires was really bad, it was wearing out quicker than the rest. so i replaced both the front tires. kept the same size just different brand and they all about have the same tread all around too.
