Default Trunk air setup with sub... Problematic or not?

So I have Ksport pro plus air suspension ordered, and was wondering if running a sub in the trunk will cause any problems with the air compressors/valves/etc? Will constant vibrations cause any issues on any of the trunk mechanical pieces for the air setup? Don't want to run my sub and have problems early down in the life of the kit.

Also, anyone ever mounted the air tank on the under side of the trunk lid? Trying to optimize space obviously in the trunk and a friend mentioned this idea.

I doubt it.

If someone can post a picture of that GS350 from the SoCal Westminster meet who was on air and had a custom sub that would be what the OP should run.

Thanks for the input guys! I figured it was an overly cautious question but figured I'd ask anyways.

Now i gotta figure out how to organize it all.

You should be fine. Many people have done it with many cars. My buddy has his tank mounted on the upper portion of the trunk. I'll try to get a pic. Do you plan to remove the spare tire?

Thanks, a pic of that mounting position would be great.

I've considered getting rid of the spare, seems like it's becoming more and more useless to even have back there... haha But i dont think the tank will fit in there. (27.5”L x 8.2”H x 6.3”D). I still need to measure where it will fit with my current trunk setup.

Not an issue if the install is done right. If you want, you can have your subs vent into the cabin of the car to minimize vibrations.

No problem, I've been meaning to make a build thread since my car has had a fair amount of parts on and off it, but at a bare minimum I'll post up a build of the ksport air. I want to help give them visibility in the market (assuming it all goes smooth, which it should!). Searching online you just find a lot of people bashing them for not being air runner, so hopefully I can get a solid review up online to give people another source of info for it, and for their top of the line kit (couldn't find but one or two people online who had it).

Brian and Mariano, appreciate the help and feedback! I'm going to measure tonight to see about an under the trunk lid mount spot!

one more from my buddies G35 sedan. It is all about thought into how much you want for show or to maximize space and how much $$$$ you want to spend.

Thanks Mariano! I got some serious "feng shui" to do in my trunk! haha

The tank will fit on the underside of the trunk lid, but I'll have to figure out a clever way to not get air lines pinched/damaged with opening/closing the trunk if i go that route. Otherwise, i have to get rid of my sub box that I've barely had installed... Ugh. first world problems are terrible...
