Cheers. I'll get myself organized in the weekend and run it up there. Reception hasn't been terrible but it does take a while to lock on.

I spoke too soon on the A2DP as the quality cuts in and out. i.e. sometimes it's good and then will deteriorate like bad radio reception and have a tinny crackle to it. Seems to do it entirely randomly so not sure what the problem is.

I also still can't get any action other than charging out of the iphone cable ( which I'm trying to connect with a lightning adapter to an Iphone5). Would be nice to use the ipod interface but its not the end of the world if I get the A2DP a bit more stable.

Problem solved on the cable. Had bought a generic adapter which it didn't seem to like. Bit the bullet and bought the overpriced Apple version and works without problem

 

Im running version 1.28 and as soon as I installed it I got fahrenheit lol even the chinese dude who sold me it wouldnt believe me, he said they are only sold in celsius... so weird!

i installed the patch on mine and once inawhile it changes to F. Outside temp is always in C though. Maybe 1 out of 20 times i use the car its in F... weird

 

What I noticed on the patch is when the temp is in F, the clock is 24hrs, and it is usually when I get off from work. When the temp is C, clock is 12hrs format.

 

Has anyone had the problem where the GPS voice for iGo8 will play over MP3s (from a USB drive) instead of muting the mp3?

If playing audio, through the radio, it gets muted properly, but not for MP3

 

no, it doesn't mute the MP3 player. I think it's fine. I thought it's more annoying to mute the audio.

 

Does anyone know about updating the skins. It seems like there is a new version of this software, but it may not be compatible with the IS250 (ie there is no integration with climate control). There is a lot of info on the priuschat forms.

+1 Unfortunately the newer i9 system is not compatible withe the older D2280 system.

Best alternative is my skin on the link that Meaht provided. I will also be updating that skin soon to fix some minor issues and include some more improvements. Just takes time because I am busy with work and not a photoshop wizard.

 

Thanks guys.. the skin was one of the first things i changed (after setting up the GPS)..it is a great improvement to this dated interface. Great work.. Looking forward to seeing an update
