And yeah do you use a clear coat to make it glossy?

 

That device that reads 13.4 is an amp reader its used when you have an aftermarket sound system and want to monitor how many amps (how much power) your car +system is using. Some higher end sound systems need to be in a certain range to get the desiered output

 

Its not black wood but dark grey bird's eye maple.
