Default Should I debadge?

I have a stock IS250, and i was thinking about doing some debadging of the chrome on the rear. the Lexus and IS250 words, but leave the chrome emblem. Have any of you done this, I would love some pics on modding ideas for my back end. I dont think I will buy any body kits at this time, but I will be taking off the dealer sticker, adding redouts, and doing this possible debadge.

Also, if i was to debadge myself, are there holes that i will need to fill in from the fitting? is there a diy?

Yes there are holes if you debadge. Others have left the holes since they're small but noticeable. I personally would fill the holes and repaint it.

I took my badges off to alter them and paint them and did just fine. There will be two small holes behind the "Lexus" and the "IS250" emblems but they can be easily filled, just make sure you fill them so no water can get in, over time that would not be pretty. I just used a little bit of JB metal epoxy puddy and then took a q-tip, cut the fuzzy part off, and used it to dot some color-matched paint on the dots I filled. The holes are tiny and to be honest, you would never know they were there if I didnt point it out, I dont even remember they are there myself and im the one who filled them.

Hope this helps

Even if you leave the holes open it will not damage anything as the hole are on the plastic piece and not ont he actual sheet metal of the trunk.

Agreed, leaving the holes wouldn't cause any issues at all down the road.
