Thanks.. I'm excited that I'm done paying it, but I feel like I'm bored of the car now, and no, no more payments I would get a car cash

The current IS is still a stylish, modern ride. I'd hold onto it, enjoy not having a car payment, and see what comes out next year with the new models. Up to you though. It's what you value more... having new toys or saving money.

Congrats on finally paying off the car! It should be a huge relief off your shoulders now. When I paid my car off, I wasn't too overjoyed because I had calculated when I wanted to pay it off by. That, and I needed to start saving up for mods Given how bad these economic times are, I would not want to take on another car loan of any sort. You own your car now. Use it and enjoy it. It's one less bill that can go towards mods or taking a girl out on a nice date or maybe even adding to a retirement or savings account. But more money you can save up now would be best to save for something bigger in the future. I'd vote no for selling your car and getting another one. If it's a full cash transaction, then that's up to you. You probably won't get an updated model, since your car is 3 years old at least, without shelling out a little extra dough. But that extra could be saved for later on in life.

True... I think I'm just too much of a "spender" so I see new cars and I wanna get it.. but in the end ill know most likely I def will keep it.. after all, it is my first baby.. lol :-)

I don't know why so many people are so quick to sell their cars once the payments are done.

If there's nothing wrong with your car, you'll find not having a car payment is a beautiful thing

I say keep the car and wait for the new IS which is not far away. Pocket all that monthly payment until then.

nice, only 3 years to pay that off?! thats awesome.

I would continue to make the monthly payments to myself (savings account)... keep yourself in the mindset of making that car payment and save your cash for next car
