I'm not going to ruin my $35K+ car to save 10% on my fuel costs, which is about $15 a month. If I could't find $15 per month, I wouldn't have bought a Lexus in the first place.

Uh.. what?

My post doesn't mention MTBE or Ethanol at all. It mentions higher altitude not needing as high an octane of fuel because the air is thinner.
