Default Rear Bumper Protector

I would like to install this genuine Lexus trunk/bumper protector:

http://is.sewellparts.com/accessorie...2008/1792.html

How difficult is it to install myself?

Thanks!

Not very hard at all, you can get the instructions tor install thru Sewell too.

As long as you line it up and everything properly and make sure to work out any bubbles, it's as easy as installing any other kinda vinyl.

Forgot to mention...

Use 10OFF coupon code. 10% off

Also they offer free shipping Over 75.00 and a complete install kit.

However, I don't recommend a newbie trying to put a bumper kit on if you've never done it. Take it to someone and have them put it on. Flat areas are easy, like the hood, fenders, trunk etc.

I have used them on all my cars and the invisible mask film is REALLY good film. Even on black, it's super shiny and very clear. Also their coverage is really good too.

I would say have a friend help you - it is a long piece that can be a little clumsy to handle by yourself.

I'm not sure what my attitude is about these protectors. I have it on one of my cars and it's all scraped up from hitting stuff. So either way, it gets messed up. Either your bumper does or your protector. It was expensive to get too, so really, I'm not sure what the real benefit of it is.

Ummmm....obviously the vinyl got messed up and not your bumper or your paint....that right there is the benefit....bumper applique isn't that expensive lol.

Less expensive than a bumper and your factory paint is still in good shape. Much easier to fix/replace.

It's cake. Line it up before you adhere it and make sure to work out any bubbles.

Like others said....the protector gets scraped up, not your paint. Which would you rather have damaged? After it's collected a whole lot of scuffs and scratches, simply peel it off and apply a new one. Or leave it off and you'll have a unscathed bumper (at least for a little bit )

Same here!!! And it's not me, its other people usually

I should have got one when I got the car, i bought it used and it already had a couple scuffs there so I figured i'd just leave it...now there's a few more.
I wish I would've just got it anyway
