My car does not run funny or have any issues with it, but this has to be the loudest car i have ever had at idle. The ticking idle sound is so loud that it vibrates my whole car. This motor is just loud overall, when i have the music off and windows up, i hear the ticking through the rpm bands is that normal for these cars??? I have F Sport intake and the car is lowered on coil overs. Other wise the car is perfectly fine no leaks, or anything wrong with it.

the tick tick tick noisr is from the injector....

 

My co-worker told me one day. "Hey, I dont know whats louder, your car or your music" haha. I also have a 350

Uhh I have an '08 350 and mine is not loud enough to hear the ticking "inside" the car w/ the windows up and it definitely does not "vibrate the whole car". Standing outside next to the car or driving next to a wall w/ the windows down I can hear the ticking but its not as loud as say a diesel engine. If you can hear it inside the car w/ the windows up and it is "vibrating" the car you may want to have it checked out I don't think it is supposed to be that loud and my car def does not vibrate at idle.

FYI I have an fsport intake but otherwise my car is completely stock.

 

ya i was worried as well but im assuming its normal i have a fsport intake and customer exhaust

 

injectors have high psi that cause the clicking sound
