20 inch wheels staggered setup for IS250. Is it possible?

Default 20 inch wheels staggered setup for IS250. Is it possible?

Hello guys,

Fairly new to this site. Love it so far.

Here's my dilemma:

I have a 2006 IS250 awd. I'm looking to get these staggered wheel set from Lexani (LSS-11), they are 20x8.5 and 20x10. My question is, can these fit my car without any major mods so it does not rub or its not possible? Also, what tire size would you recommend for this set? I have to mention that I am not considering on lowering the car, I would like to leave it stock when it comes to springs.

They'll fit. I have staggered 19's which are pretty aggressive. If you take the fender liners out, the only time you'll rub is maybe a little when turning at full lock. You should be fine bro. Get some low profile tires, that'll help too.

You may be able to get them to fit, but running 20x8.5 and 20x10 might be a problem because of the AWD.

Also, I think you can get better looking wheels for the price of Lexani's, but that's a matter of opinion

I had a 19 inch TSW (zolder) staggered setup before with no problems. But was wondering about a 20 inch setup. I dont want to upgrade from 19's to 20's and have ride problems, you know...

What kind of wheels would you recomend instead of the Lexanis? I got a pretty good deal on them I think, $2600 with everything including sensors and shipped. I also loved the look. My IS is matador red so I'm looking for black wheels and It was between those or the TSW Mallory 5 wheels. Liked these better.

It will work with the rite tire size and offset. But being awd with no drop it will sit alot higher. Not my idea wheels either for that price. But as long as you like them. There are more option in the vendor section and the wheel for sale classifield. With the 20 your gonna have to run 25 series low pro.

At this point I'm thinking to save myself a headache and just stick to 19's... It would have been nice to stagger some nice 20's but is too much trouble it looks like...

You can do it. You will have to run 245/30 20's up front and 285/25 rear or 235/30 20's front and 275/25 rear. I'm running choice number one for the fact that there are only 2brands that make the 275/ 25 20. If you want a larger selection of tires then you should go with 19's but you can rock some 20's and become a member of the Staggered 20's AWD club.

its possible with the right size tires but if you don't want spend a lot of $$$ on tires I would stick to 19" lol

i keep getting different information, because i wanted to do the same. lexus said no, tirerack said no, because it would throw off the awd system. thats the first thing i wanted to do when i got my car

Thank you to all, I think I'm going to stick to 19's and with the money saved get a HKS exhaust... If any of you have a HKS for sale let me know. Also looking to buy some Tein springs...
