I cut that section of the plastic off. Well, after it rubbed through most of it anyways. You still have to worry about the fender tab that's right behind it too, though.

I think everyone who's lowered their 2IS rubs. I had rubs on my wheels before I was lowered. If it's gets really bad, you may have to relocate your bumper tab.

Is the bumper tab the metal screw that keeps the bumper connected to the fender? If it is, where did you guys relocate it to? Because I think that's the only thing I'm rubbing on right now, even after raising the car a bit. It looks so ugly I wanna go lower D:

Yes that's the one.

You must relocate the front bumper tab anytime you lower your car on coils. I pushed mine inside and modified the screw just to have enough clearance for the tires.

Try the search function and type "front bumper tab" and it'll show you threads with pictures on how members did theirs

Depending on how aggressive your offset is and how low you are will determine if you need to do the bumper tab relocation. If you are on stock wheels and OE tire specs and lowered 2.5" or less...you "should" be fine with just the plastic liner being rubbed to death. At least, this is from my own personal experience. I'm lowered 2.5" all around on BCRs and stock wheels and OE tire specs.

Enjoy the lowered goodness!
