Headlight upgrade question
Have an 07 is350 and want better headlights. What is the best options out there without breaking the bank? Looking to spend no more than $100. Looking for good quality brands. Don't want to pay and get burned 2 months later. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Is it hard to change them out or should i take it somewhere?
In the future, clarify what you're looking for. "Headlights" are very different from "low beam bulbs", which I believe is what you're talking about since you only want to spend $100.

They are 5000K, which means they will be a more brilliant white (with a hint of blue) than stock. They come out to $100 even for two bulbs. I highly recommend these.
If you want to go bluer than that, many people on CL go with Garax 6000Ks. I've only read good things about them on CL, but I will note that they will be quite blue, much bluer than stock, and could draw unwanted attention particularly if your car has other mods. I've read of a few people on CL who've gotten tickets with Garax for their lights being too blue.

I bought 6k because on my mazda, 6k was a nice white with a light hint of ice blue and it's what I was going for. I put 6k's in the IS the other day and it seems to have a hint of purple? What could cause it to be different?
