I'm planning on buying the the ijdm interior xenon white led set. I was wondering what led I would need to buy for the trunk.

I saw the led guide that links to vleds, but since they don't make it anymore can someone help me on a size i need or a link to the ijdm version?

 

You'll need a DE3175/DE3022 bulb which would be like these:

I believe you need a 31mm.

the led light in the trunk looks so much better

 

I bought this set from eBay ( http://www.ebay.com/itm/270785553913...84.m1497.l2649) recommended by another member. Still waiting for them to arrive so I can test them out.

 

The trunk light festoon bulb is about 27mm in length.

How did you make the 31mm festoon fit into a slot designed for 27mm? Bend the metal or hammer the festoon ends?

 

I hope the 31mm fits because that is what i bought today..

 

ebay ones light looks the same but the output isn't the same. i rather spend the extra $10 and get them from ijdmtoy

 

Have you tried both the eBay and ijdmtoy ones? How different is the output between the two?

 

the 31mm festoon works. it's a little tight but works perfect for me

 

LED lights for the trunk is a great improvement, now you can actually see something in the trunk at night.

 

Ye I don't remember exactly which one i bought off ebay, but it was like 4 leds on it and got 2 for like 8$. I'm not to worried about the trunk light since i will barely even open it.
