Default Sparkplug question

So i am getting ready to replace my sparkplug in my 2008 IS250; however, i just read that i need to replace the intake manifold gaskets since i need to remove it to get to the other bay area?? is this true??? Im just trying to figure out if this is somethign i need to do or i can avoid. As far as i am concerned, they are made out of rubber and as long as they dont tear, i should be fine.

Please advise.

I would imagine your answer is likely found in this thread, or at least can be asked there: https://www.clublexus.com/forums/is-...necessity.html

Don't tear them, They will be fine if you reuse them. Just make sure you block off the intake manifold ports going to the engine when you take if off. A dropped nut in there will turn a simple afternoon into days of fishing for it ^.^

in additiion, i have also noticed a big change in the way the car rides. it is alot smoother and idles quietly. It also had alot of power compared to before. A definite need if your car is running like crap
