Default Top Customer Service by Lexus

Hey guys,

Just wanted to share my very positive experience with Lexus and hope other potential buyers who count not just on the car itself, but also the customer service behind it.

As many know, when a phone plugged to a charger and the aux jack in use there is this annoying noise when accelerating. This issue is covered by Lexus as long as the car is under warranty.
I purchased my 09 Lexus IS350 at 48 000 miles and unfortunately found this issue when the car was at 50 100 mls.
I went to my local dealership to see if they could do something for me. My service rep explained that Lexus has a strict policy on warranty service only within the warranty period/mileage, no exception. Although this is an easy fix, the cost of it through Lexus is close to $500. He suggested to contact Lexus customer service and ask if they could do something in my case. I called them and was informed that I will receive a call back after they review my specific problem. A couple days later the repair was honored even my car was already out of warranty.

Thank you Sasha at Lexus of Pembroke Pines, Florida and also Lexus customer service!

Good to hear, another positive experience with Lexus Corporate

You'd be surprised how many other manufacturers have told consumers "tough luck" when even just a few miles past the warranty.

I did not know about this issue. With 47k miles on my vehicle, I'll be checking to see if I can duplicate this problem. Thank you dmpus for the post.

Sounds good. Too bad this doesn't happen to everyone.

I have heard nothing but good things about Lexus corporate which is great. Most bad experiences I hear are from individual dealerships. Nice the know the people on top actually care about their customers.
