2010 and newer models don't need any adapter, they support music over A2DP from the factory

smackman, on an 11 plug your iphone playing pandora into USB and select USB on your display. If you use Bluetooth it will disable your ability to use the Bluetooth phone (take and receive calls). If for whatever reason you want to use Bluetooth, while the car isn't moving you need to go into Settings and turn on "Audio" in the Bluetooth settings.

You can connect your phone via BT allowing it to function as phone and media player at the same time.

I had a 2011 IS 350 with no Nav. It had the bluetooth package. I also have the iPhone 4S. After I synced my phone to the car, whenever my phone plays music via pandora or my playlist, the little wireless bluetooth sync button pops up as an option when my phone is near the car. All I have to do is switch the audio source in the car over to AUX and the car starts playing my music. Very easy and I was able to keep the phone in my pocket or in the cup holder, no wires needed unless I want to charge my phone. That is a feature I really liked on my car and it was all automatic.

my iPhone 4s will ring and I press the answer button on the steering wheel to answer my phone. When I am done, the phone resumes the music. 2011 with no nav, so it should work.
