Has anyone tried the air duster method to remove door dings?

Looks like a possibility if the dent is big enough. Don't know if it's guaranteed to remove all dents, but worth a shot.

I have tried the air duster method and it didn't work for me. Perhaps I was doing something wrong...?

nevermind, just did some more research and that method could damage your paint. Guess i'll just pay 75 bucks to get it repaired.

If it's a door ding, the dent is probably pretty small. I could only see that method work on a larger sized dent.

This actually only works on larger dents that haven't really "creased". With that behind said it also only works on metal panels (doors, fenders, trunk, hood, but not bumpers which are plastic) and has to be done in a relatively short period of time. It essentially works by having the metal expand then contract very quickly which pulls it out back out. Unfortunately it usually does not work (or very well) as once the panel "remembers" that's the shape, it's too late.

Your best bet's to bring it to a paintless dent removal shop and have them use their tools to mold it back out.

i tried that method on my previous car, it does help a little, but it does not remove the ding entirely. personally i think its a waste of time, would rather pay the ding removal guys to do it right.
