all of the posts about the Varis multimedia LinQ are about a year old so i had to post a new thread about this...does anyone who has this have any problems running the iOS 5 and the iPhone 4/ 4S with this product? I know it just talks about music on the website, but i'm guessing you can also use it as a secondary screen from your iphone and watch videos, play iphone games, text etc...correct me if im wrong. I'm getting tired of using my aux cable and having it laying out in my car so i want something like a bluetooth connection to listen to music.. From the looks of it you have to have a cable to sync up with the unit..anyone have any pics of theLinQ installed on their car? thanks for the help.

i have one with my iPhone 4 running a jailbreak 5.01 OS

it will not let you text through your nav screen or play games currently. you can play movies, pandora and iTunes music through the nav screen. there is a very nice interface that lets you control all these functions through the nav touch screen.

there is also an update coming in the future that will allow you to make phone calls through the touch screen that will integrate with your iPhones contact list.

i have some threads on here about iPhone docks if you look through my profile. also most of the you tube videos are all pretty up to date with what the general layout is for the user interface.

Yea its sweet you can also do Netflix and Youtube streaming...basically it will show anything on your iphone once you tell it to go into video mode.
