please do yourself a favor and run a seperate wire and fuse! that lil 16ga is intended for the factory amp only, and eventually pi]ulling too much current through it will cause a melt down even if it is fused! so dont chance it. i have 2 runs of 4ga in my is250 and im running 2500 watts rms with a mmats 3000.1. soon upgrading to an orion 2500.1 hcca. p,s i am a professional car audio installler since 1993 and still going, i own my own shop and ive seen circuit city guys installations! there is a reason why they are not around anymore, probably do to installing sound systems with the factory amps power wire and causing meltdowns and bieng sued by the customers.

not knocking you here , but please run a wire if you value your lexus!
