Yes as long as they fix the interior. The current IS interior, radio/nav UI, etc looks like a$$ compared to the '06-'07. The two-tone seats, and faux silver CF trim in the IS-F are a joke.

 

That car is way too aggressive to be stock.

 

I remember when the GS came out right before the 2006 IS and I thought the GS looked good but when the IS came out it just looked hot. The IS is more sexy looking design wise, even the cabin inside for the IS was more intimate feeling than the GS. The IS just fit me like a glove inside.

Lexus is almost like Apple, they are keeping the new IS a big secret, I thought we would have seen a least a pic by now. I think the front end of the IS will look even better than the GS pic above. Lexus has alot riding on the IS.

I voted YES even though I have no idea what it will really look like lol, I hope it looks sexier and sportier than the GS above, I hope we look at it and see some design ques from the 2nd gen (like the coupe like roofline) because the current IS is visually appealing.

 

Whatever it looks like without any more power or a weight reduction it will all = FAIL

 

I voted no - BUT! that is because I have a 2010 so I will probably have this car another 3-4 years before I change

 

So should I buy a new 2012 or wait for the new Is?

 

I am probably interested in the 3IS, but I didn't want to take the chance that the M/T would finally be dead, so I decided not to wait. We'll see how things go in a few years, I'm not entirely sold on buying the first model year of a car (even though I've done it in the past).
