I'd put white to keep things subtle.

Instead of an led i am getting my projector interior painted via high temp paint.
After awhile the led bulbs fail due to how much heat they sustain, just fyi

I hope that you're just painting the cutoff shield. Painting the projector bowl will effectively rob nearly all your output.

Lol, what will painting the cut-off shield do exactly? Anyhow, I'm going to go for red and try it out with my fog-light projector retrofit. Will update back in two weeks maybe.

If you paint the cutoff shield that faces OUTWARD (faces you when you're looking into the projector), it make it look like that color from certain angles. An example.

You must mean the lens... I thought u can paint the interior if the projector along with the shield then put on the lens and be good to go. Am i wrong?

Here's a couple of my s2000 projectors to demonstrate what I'm talking about

The inside of the projector is a chrome bowl that reflects the light into the lens on the right, projecting out the light. If you paint the bowl, you don't have that chrome finish anymore. Your light wont work. What I am saying, is you can paint the front of the cutoff shield (facing the projector lens) and not affect your light output because that part never touches any light.
Also, I'm pretty sure you can paint everything that you see in the first picture, but that wont do much, as you don't see it from the outside.

Here's an update. I'm about done with my projector fog light retrofit. It didn't come out as great as I hoped for but not bad for my first retrofit. Still not done yet and still not attached together. Might take me a month or two before I do this for my headlights though...

Yeah I almost painted my cutoff shields red to get that effect when I did my retrofit but my Tsx projectors are the newer ones without the removable shields

Saw this awhile ago in the civic forums.
Found this interesting. I always wanted the 2012 head lights but didnt want to pay the 15000 for them. This looks pretty clean and not as ghetto as just placing the led facing out. Dont know if im bold enough to try though.
