Took my 250 in for an alignment at the dealership,(recently purchased new rims and tires), the dealership service dept. told me prior to doing the alignment that the rims would get scratched when placing the alignment cradles on the rims. Glad to know that some dealerships are honest and not just lookin to make a quick $$$. But on the other hand, does anyone know where I could take it for an alignment that would not scratch my brand new rims? I live in South Florida, (Lauderdale)

Interesting. Sounds like non-sense since if it's a good shop, the wheels won't be able to be scratched if done properly.

Well, the mech took me back to the shop, and showed me exactly what he meant. So I saw first hand how they could be scratched, and considering I was paying for the service, I can't see any other reason why they would not want to do it other then damaging my new rims.
