Default is250 manual

Hey guys...for those people with a manual tranny.
I have an issue with the shift boot. It's come off and have tried many times to repair it by taking off the panels and adjusting it. But it keeps coming off. has anyone experienced the same and how did you fix it. Please help.

I had the same problem after my alarm shop had taken out my center console. I had mine redone in black suede with red stitching.

Mine came loose because my bracket was a bit warped, so I got a new shift boot with a new bracket. There was also a small tab that was broken, so I used a screw to hold in the new bracket.
