never use a bare flat head screw driver on your interior! always cover it with something like a tissue or even better, get a plastic prying tool. they are only 1 or 2 bucks and will save you from the damage! lol
OP why wasn't it the rear one you messed up, I have an extra one of those for 1/4 the price grr!!
Thanks for the info on plastic tools. I have used the small flat head on the cars of mine. But I think the Lexus didn't have much room for play. I really just want to find this piece for a good price. I'm hoping a Lexus dealer parts employee will see this thread and point me in the right direction.

The picture looks like its from my car but I don't get why the picture looks like its washed out a bit lol!! Using a flat head is a very bad idea!
Here is the orignal pic.

You would need the correct tool to do this and the pic below is the tools I have. I used the the one that sort of looks like a pitch fork and I'll list what I did.
- Put the fork in the spot where it wraps around one of those tab things in the corner.
- Pry it down (the tab supposedly snaps off but it requires a good amount of force but I decided to do it a more safer way) just enough to you can put your fingers inside.
- Pull down with your fingers inside and gradually put in more force until it finally comes off.
- Repeat on the other corner.
